More sugar, sugar?

Here we are - A few days later at the end of a long road. This pic took so many different paths while I was colouring it, compared to the original thought. It started as a sketch - Justa bout swimming, then being the fantasy freak I am, it somehow turned to having underwater coffee with a mermaid. There were alot of colour changes as the pic went by - and yes all those bubbled were done indivually.T The background was done past, my kidneys were stabbing me while I was doing it, as they're the main focus I spent all my time working on them. This makes a good wallpaper haha.

I love her design too, yes she's a prissy ditzy blonde mermaid, and hes a cliche drop out trying to make it as a poet. I'm pretty happy with this, to the point where I might make a short humerous comic starring these two. SO look out for sketches and comic pages of these too. She needs a name, any suggestions?
